Targeted Professional Development is designed to help teachers improve and refine their literacy teaching and student learning in the classroom. Participating teachers attend professional development seminars, workshops, and collaborative planning sessions to learn about specific instructional practices based on current research. Targeted Professional Development offerings provide opportunities for teachers to continuously apply and reflect on their own teaching in order to meet the needs of all learners.
